Join fellow Olaves for a refreshing morning hike through the beautiful bushland surrounding Mundaring Weir. This relaxed and social walk is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with nature, catch up with friends, and explore one of Perth's most iconic walking areas.

Starting at the Mundaring Weir Hotel, we'll follow a trail connected to the Bibbulmun Track, taking in the sights of the historic Mundaring Weir before continuing on to Golden View Lookout for stunning views across the surrounding landscape. After the hike, we'll return to the Mundaring Weir Hotel to enjoy a well-earned lunch together.

What to Expect:

• A 5km bushwalk through the Mundaring Weir area – The walk includes some inclines and uneven terrain. Participants should be comfortable walking several kilometres on bush trails.
• Scenic views from Golden View Lookout
• Time to connect with fellow Olaves and enjoy the outdoors

What to Bring/Wear:

• Girl Guides Australia uniform shirt/polo
  
• Comfortable walking or hiking clothing
  
• Worn-in hiking or walking shoes with good grip – Please ensure your footwear is suitable for uneven terrain and potentially slippery conditions if rain has occurred prior to the hike.
  
• Hat (wide-brim recommended)
  
• At least 2 litres of water
  
• Sunscreen
  
• Snacks for the hike and lookout stop
  
• Raincoat or waterproof jacket
